JOB TITLE: Sr. Product Manager/ Director of Product Development for Home Automation DIY Video products

As Senior Product Manager of EZVIZ, the candidate will be responsible for product development and management of NPI (New Product Introduction) for EZVIZ life style video and home automation product lines to be launched in the North American market. The candidate will also be responsible for sustaining programs of existing EZVIZ product line, providing analysis of sales trend and customer feedbacks, making suggestion for product improvement and making strategic decision to continue, enhance or terminate the product line.

The candidate will need to observe the trend of consumer video and home automation market as well as the latest technology available, communicate with in-house R&D department, and define, price, and sustain the potential new products and service for the future from ideal stage to commercialization.

The Sr. Product Manager for EZVIZ will help to deliver the most reliable, secured and affordable video products to peoples’ lives, and make EZVIZ the Internet of “Video” among the Internet of Things.



  • Responsible for the creation of PRDs (Product Requirement Document)
  • Determine product specification, features, product position, selling points,  and market prices for the assigned products portfolio
  • Conduct competitive analysis for assigned products in the similar categories and generate report to management team
  • Coordinate cross-function resources between North America Marketing, Sales, Operation, and Technology teams, as well as Engineering and Product Development in Headquarter, with the objectives of bringing products from either NPI or concurring programs to commercialization stage facing customers
  • Provide Marketing with information to develop packaging, documentation, training materials and other materials deemed necessary to support introduction of product to market
  • Communicate with strategic partners and/or third party developers, lead and execute integration initiatives between EZVIZ cloud and other connected devices
  • Create short and long term product roadmap per assigned products  
  • Define and provide specific guidance of North to Headquarter
  • Report progress to internal stakeholders, executives and multi-tiered audience.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required
  • Additional Job Functions (for Director of Product Development)
  • Assemble and lead a team of product managers for each EZVIZ product categories (hardware and software)
  • Generate strategic product development roadmap covering all EZVIZ product categories for North American market 
  • Create and lead collaboration initiatives with various home automation driven ecosystems and penetrate video adoption by strategic partners 


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS (Senior Product Manager)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of product development involving hardware, software and APP, preferably in consumer electronic industries.
  • Experience in networking, connected devices and/or cloud based product development
  • Bachelor Degree with concentration on engineering, computer science or equivalent experience preferred
  • Motivate self-starter with great attention to details
  • Advanced decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexible for travel


ADDITIONAL SKILLS  (Director of Product Development)

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of product development in consumer electronics or IT industries
  • Leadership experience with direct reports


COMPENSATION: $150 base ++30% upside
