Description

The Systems Depot is a nationwide equipment distributor of Security, Fire, Access Control, CCTV, and Wire & Cable with a distribution hub in Duluth, GA. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Sales Manager.  We prefer an applicant that comes from within the Security, Fire, and Access Control systems industry with a keen knowledge of wholesale distribution.

 

This position is accountable to the Director of Sales and Marketing. This position also functions as a liaison to the Sales Team Members in achieving the overall company goals and objectives. The Sales Manager supports the day-to-day administrative needs and organizational responsibilities in a fast paced, competitive environment.  Wages commensurate with experience, performance based bonus with substantial earning potential.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to sales staff for achievement of sales goals and financial objectives
• Provide leadership for Depot Express according to corporate template for Greater Atlanta area
• Communicate effectively on a routine basis to corporate; market conditions, customer trends, sales forecasts, etc…
• Responsible for the effective coordination and execution of all activities and commitments for Duluth Branch
• Manage the flow of information; with high degree professionalism, via phone, email and personal communications. This includes all internal as well as external communications.
• Produce required reporting for; operational performance, order fulfillment, continuous improvement, inventory status, etc...
• Lead branch operational functions in compliance with company policies and procedures (inventory control, transaction processing, shipping and receiving, counter sales, etc…)

 
Essential Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal human relations skills.
• Natural Ability to Plan, Organize, and Prioritize work
• Works independently and is able to provide support to others.
• Proficiency at Expert Level with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Axapta and CRM is preferred
• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and relate well to sales staff, understanding them and the issues affecting them on a daily basis.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
• Must be poised, patient, courteous, maintaining a professional manner and appearance at all times.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to achieve the needs of the business.
• Ability to motivate staff and foster a strong interdependent team environment

 

Experience and Training

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in wholesale distribution of low voltage security components is essential.
